M.Phil.: Two years full time;
Ph.D.: Three years full time.

M.Phil.: Anyone of the following qualifications.
(a.) MBBS with at least a 2nd class lower division in final or relevant examination.
(b). B.D.S or B.V.Sc. with at least 2nd lower division.
(c). Any Special Degree recognized by the UGC in a relevant subject with at least 2nd class upper division.
(d). M.Sc../M.A./MD in a relevant subject discipline or any other postgraduate / professional qualifications acceptable to the Board of Study.
(e). MBBS with Postgraduate Diploma (at least one year).
(f). One year graduate standing with any degree recognized by the UGC or professional qualifications recognized by the Faculty in relevant subjects which are acceptable to the Board of Study and a pass in the qualifying examination.
Ph.D.: Anyone of the following qualifications.
(a) M.PhiI./M.Sc. research degree (2 year)
(b). M.Phil. candidates upgraded on the recommendation of the Board of Study.
